Hey, blog friends! How has the week been? Mine’s been terribly busy, I’m so glad it’s already Friday. The weekend is going to be busy as well but at least I don’t have to think about work all the time. 
As a way to unwind, I’m writing a quick post about the beauty products I got during the holidays. I can say that the holiday season has been good to me as I got tons of great products from family, friends, and my boyfriend. Even I barely use any makeup these days except for when I go to events, it’s still such a joy to open a present filled with beauty products. My inner girly girl is always thrilled about anything beauty-related! Are you the same?
Anyway, here’s my haul at a glance:
Let’s start with the Bourjois products I got from my boyfriend. Boys are so clueless about gift-giving sometimes that you have to tell them outright what exactly it is you want to ensure satisfaction. Hahaha In my case, I gave my boyfriend a makeup shopping list with photos accompanying product names. That’s how exact I was! Hahaha Unfortunately, there were some out of stock products so he just picked things that looked similar to the ones on my list. As you can expect, this resulted in some humorous picks – one wherein he equated a blusher to an eyeshadow because they had the same packaging.
For those not familiar, the Bourjois is drugstore cosmetics brand born in 1863 in Paris’ theater district. In 1924, Coco Chanel approached Bourjois owner Pierre Wertheimer to help her create her perfume line. At present and contrary to popular belief, Bourjois and the Wertheimer actually own Chanel and not the other way around.
Here are the stuff I got from Bourjois:
1. Smokey Eyes Trio Eyeshadows
2. Bourjois Little Round Pot Blushers in Lilas D’ Ors, Sienna, and Cendre de Rose Brun plus a Little Round Pot Eyeshadow in N*3
3. Sweet Kiss Lipsticks in Rouge Intemporel and Shine
Now this bunch I got from my aunty, cousin, and friend Joey. My aunt bought the glitter eyeshadow palette in London for 2 pounds! The colors are so pretty!
However, my real makeup fairy godmother is my friend Katlog who got me a bag full of products from Sephora! It’s got everything for eyes, lips, cheeks and even hair and skin care products! I’m so excited!
Finally got the Naked Palette 2 as well! Woohoo!!!
Now these are tons of products for me to review. Let me know which products you want me to review first so I can prioritize them
