Milky & Sunny: The Newest (& Coolest) Breakfast Place in Town!

I have a feeling that this week’s posts are going to be mostly about food. So, what better way to start than with the first meal of the day – breakfast!

Despite me not being a fan of breakfast food, I found myself having dinner at a restaurant serving only that because my friend wanted to check out the place after hearing good things about it.

The restaurant was Milky & Sunny located at Kapitolyo, Pasig City. It claims to be the sunniest place in the metro that offers “all-day breakfast and comfort food at its finest.”As soon as we entered, we were greeted by this adorable reception area. Milky and Sunny, indeed! I wanted to take the lamp and the sign home. So cute!

As expected, the menu promised a wide range of breakfast food at very reasonable prices. I was delighted by the selection and had a hard time picking my meal. We consulted with our waitress and she recommended the Breakfast Enchiladas and the Tapa Meal as their bestsellers.

Here are the enchiladas. Yummy salsa on top. Great way to start a meal. :)

Vince got the Tapa and enjoyed it! :) Too bad the portions were a bit small.

For myself, I got the Bacon and Eggs Meal, which is normally served with rice, but I asked mine to be served with toast instead. I LALALALOVE THIS! Who can say no to bacon?

Kim, on the other hand, being the health-conscious girl that she is, got some eggs Benedict. She didn’t really comment on the taste so I guess it tasted normal. Hehe.. :P

Lastly, because we wanted more, we got their special Bacon and Spam pasta, another bestseller. To be honest, I can’t find fault in this dish. Spam plus bacon plus cheese… what can ever go wrong? No wonder it’s a bestseller. :)

We were all full and satisfied at the end of the meal. I can definitely understand why this place is being talked about. It’s quaint, serves good food, and at the same time, the meals won’t break the bank. I’m sure we went out the door with sunny smiles on our faces. (Weh!) ;)

For more information, visit their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter.

Milky & Sunny is open from MON to SUN, 7AM-10PM at 9East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig. Happy Eating!
